The Hatwalk!

The Hatwalk has started in London, a project where both established and emerging hat designers have created bespoke headwear that will appear across London on famous landmarks and statues.

The project celebrates British milinery as part of the London 2012 Festival, and sees statues such as those of Lord Nelson, Winston Churchill and King George IV sporting new headwear.

Miliner Philip Treacy, just one of 21 designers involved, has designed a piece for the statue of Sir Henry Havelock in Trafalgar Square. His collection is available now in the Hat Gallery M/V.
